Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Sitrep (`$Sitrep`, "we", "us"), the provider of theSitrep platform for hospitality operators, franchisees and franchisors. By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the platform you agree to these terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; if you are signing up as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age.

The service

Sitrep provides a hosted dashboard that connects to your point of sale, email, accounting and payroll data to produce daily briefings, invoice tracking, rostering and pay run calculations, inventory and reporting, and network reporting for franchisors. Your plan determines which stores, users and features you may access.

Your account

Keep your login credentials confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account — and provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must not misuse the service. That includes unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing anyone's intellectual property, uploading malware, probing or interfering with our security, or scraping the platform.

Licence and ownership

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform within your selected plan. We retain ownership of the platform and all intellectual property in it, including the software, documentation and branding. You must not reverse engineer the platform, resell or redistribute it, or circumvent technical limits such as store or seat caps. You keep ownership of the data and content you upload, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

Payment and subscriptions

Subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor. Prices are shown per store, per month, and are billed to the payment method you provide at checkout.

Subscriptions renew for the billing period you selected until cancelled. Where a trial is offered, billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.

AI features

Parts of Sitrep use AI to summarise trading data, draft review replies and suggest actions. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not financial, legal, tax or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing them before acting, and for having the rights to any content you submit. We may filter, restrict or refuse outputs, and remove content that breaches these terms.

Service level and warranties

We work to keep Sitrep available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and third-party connections (such as your point of sale, email or accounting provider) may be unavailable from time to time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we exclude indirect, consequential or special damages including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the platform, or your breach of these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel at any time. When access ends you may export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it in line with our Privacy Notice.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond their reasonable control. If we change these terms we will update this page and, for material changes, notify account owners.
